For the 125th anniversary, we had 125 pieces of the classic from the “Schild-Spielzeug” collection of the 1940s produced true to the original.
Schild toys
On the initiative of the 2nd generation of ALBERT SCHILD, son Ernst, the production of an own toy product line is started. SCHILD sells toys made in the Bernese Oberland according to its own designs under the brand name “Schild-Spielzeug” or “Berner Oberländer Heimarbeit”. Modern designed vehicles were regarded as typical SCHILD and were sold for many years in toy shops, including Franz Carl Weber in Zurich.
